DAIWA

Reel 23 leaps

Perfect for medium-a-tall spinning at sea, Daiwa made the Reel 23 jerks.

The reel 23 Gets up It represents the best of Daiwa technology and combines great lightness, handling, power and reliability from primacy.

The body of the new reel 23 Gets up, called Monocoque Body (monocoque), is made entirely of aluminum and joins a new conception rotor, also built in aluminum.

Thanks to the Airdrive Design technology, the Reel 23 leaps It has a new design that minimizes inertia in the rotation, increasing both smoothness and robustness.

The special Magsealed technology, on the other hand, ensures the maximum durability of mechanics and internal gears of Daiwa 23 lens (built in Duralluminio G1) protecting them with a special membrane of magnetized oil.

Technologies:
- Airdrive Design: the new constructive concept destined to completely revolutionize the technology of spinning reels. Introduced on the new Exist, it is based on the redesign and improvement of the structural elements of the reel: rotor, reel, bow, bow and Alberino. Everything has been designed to combine maximum lightness with a primacy smoothness, minimizing rotation inertia without compromising robustness.
- Magsealed: Special membrane of magnetized oil seals the exit mouth of the pign from the body, preventing the water from penetrating the body. The technology, used by NASA in the fuel pipes on spacecrafts, is exclusive to Daiwa in the sector. It is intuitive that the absence of water and dust inside the body preserves the mechanisms with the risks of corrosion, lengthening the life of the reel. On the most advanced reels, the system is also applied for the benefit of the guide and the control wheel, other weak points to protect. Both applications affect the sweetness of rotation, reducing friction and increasing the pleasure of fishing.
- Monocoque Body: The reel body is a single piece of worked material. This makes it more robust, rigid and sealed against salt. The monocoque body allows the housing of a larger control wheel, improving rotation and increasing the power.
- ATD: Automatic progressive clutch. With the ATD the brake on the coil reacts in a sweet way to the initial stress, then sector progressively on the "brake" set.
- Zaion: the microscope highlights the multidirectional carbon microfibre, responsible for the absorption of stresses and an extraordinary rigidity. To the scale, a thrill: with the same volume, 50% of aluminum weighs. It is the Zaion, the composite developed by Daiwa to obtain structures with performance similar to those of metals, at a lower cost because they do not require anti -corrosion treatments.
- CRBB: ICUSCINETTI DAIWA CRBB are free from Corrosion thanks to the fat inserted inside them and sealed with special cheeks on both faces. The surface of the sphere is then hardened by a special thermal treatment.
- Tough Digigear: higher level gears, developed starting from the famous Daiwa Digigear. Tough Digigear components have increased in size and improved in the materials, guarantee better performances of reliability and durability.
- LC ABS: it is a technology that combines the characteristics of the ABS coats with the Long Cast technology. The upper edge is made up of two gradually oriented edges to the outside to further decrease the friction of the outgoing wire.
- TB2 Twistbuster: the original first or second generation Twist Buster Daiwa eliminates the twist of the line by lengthening her life. Be wary of imitations.
-Antireverse infinite: a maxi-rollers, which revolve in one direction, is responsible for the "one-way" rotation, that is, without that annoying "step back" common to the reels equipped with a normal anti-revival.
- Cross Wrap: the patterned spire padding guarantees a better collection of the line, improving its leakage during the launching phase.
